Apartment asking prices in Tokyo in February 2018

According to Tokyo Kantei, the average asking price of a 70 sqm (753 sq.ft) apartment across greater Tokyo was 35,980,000 Yen in February 2018, showing no change from the previous month but up 0.4% from last year. The average building age was 23.4 years.

In Tokyo’s 23 wards the average asking price was 53,260,000 Yen, showing no change from the previous month and no change from last year. The average building age was 23.1 years.

In Nagoya City, average asking prices were up 7.6% from last year, while Osaka City saw a 1.0% increase.

In Tokyo’s central six wards (Chiyoda, Chuo, Minato, Shibuya, Bunkyo and Shinjuku) the average asking price was 73,810,000 Yen, up 0.4% from the previous month and up 1.6% from last year. The average building age was 21.4 years.
