A house and land in Tokyo’s Motoazabu address sold for 1.16 billion Yen (approx. 10.5 million USD) at a public auction last month. The sale, conducted by Osaka City, attracted seven bidders, including one well-known developer. The City had set a reserve price of 673,261,700 Yen.
Two floors in ARK Mori Building – the office tower in the ARK Hills complex located in central Tokyo – have been acquired by Heiwa Real Estate REIT. Heiwa paid 3.085 billion Yen (approx. 29 million USD) for the trust beneficiary rights to the 30th and 31st floors from an unnamed seller.

Japan Post Insurance have posted a capital gain of 85.03 billion Yen (approx. 803 million USD) on the sale of an Art Deco building and land in Tokyo’s Minato ward that took place in February. The buyer was Mitsui Fudosan Residential.

ORIX JREIT Inc. announced that they will be acquiring the trust beneficiary rights to the Terrazza Aoyama building in Jingumae at the end of September. The acquisition price is 9 billion Yen (approx. 87 million USD), excluding tax, resulting in a net operating income of 4.2%. The seller was RD Legend Alpha SPC.
The building is located alongside Gaien Nishi Street and is 400 meters from the Olympic Stadium site and 650 meters from Gaienmae Station on the Ginza Subway Line.
